RSO status (active, frozen)

Hi everyone,
The deadline for RSOs to submit their information sheets, anti-hazing forms and to attend RSOOO was last Friday (Sept. 28). The AllInfo database is now showing an up to date status of RSOs. That means that any group that has not complied with all three of those requirements is listed as frozen. If you want to know why a group is frozen you can go into AllInfo and click on the requirements tag. If any of those three is not checked, that is what they are missing. You can ignore any other requirements on the list.

Signature Responsibility from last year does not expire until Oct. 15, so individuals have until then to bring in new or renewal cards for this year. That means SR is not a factor in freezing groups for the next two weeks. We would greatly appreciate everyone enforcing these requirements so that we are equitable about it.

Please check the group's status when you accept a purchase request or make an appointment with Barbara. Frozen groups can't spend money or register events. If they come in to do event development, check their status for their information, but if a group has started an event, they can complete it, even if they are frozen. But they can't initiate anything new until they comply.

Compliance or how to get unfrozen: If they haven't submitted the information sheet or anti-hazing, all they have to do is submit it. If they didn't have anyone attend RSOOO they will have to wait until the next workshop which will be in February. We are considering offering one in December for new groups which will be open to anyone who needs it, and we'll let you know if that happens.

If you have any questions or if there are mistakes in All Info (i.e. "I turned in all my forms, why am I frozen?") please let me know.
Thanks, Phee
